This Saturday we will be heading to Kurtdoğmuş village which is on the Asian side near the famous Dam (Ömerli Barajı), We have been on the other side of this dam many times and it is a beautiful place but needs some cleaning.

The village has few other villages next to it which we'll also be passing by since the trekking route is long.

THINGS TO DO:

1- Hiking.

2- Visiting the villages around (Ballica and Kurtdoğumüş)

3- Checking out the lake.

4- Clean as much as we can.

15-20KMs

Difficulty = Medium

Altitude = Max 150m

Hiking Details:

We will get out in Göçbeyli Merkez Cami, do some food shopping or eat something and then start the hiking. The place there is amazing and have a very nice view. If you have never been here before I recommend you to come.

April 21 departure from the harbor of Fethiye ..

Due to some people might arrive late, The departure might be delayed a bit which means the maximum departure time could be during the noon time on 21 of April.

In the first day we'll have a snack / cake / .and in the evening there will be a BBQ ...

There is a bar on the boat so you can drink whatever you like there (Bar is not free and not part of the payment)

Route: Fethiye and Gocek local sites:

1- Clopatra Village
2- Yassica Island
3- Bedri rahmi Village
4- Tersane Village

There are dozens of other villages in that zone that we will be visiting... April 24 Afternoon we'll head back to Fetihye Harbor again to head back.
Cost per person is 250$.

Last week our trip was to a place called Omerli Baraj which stands for “Omerli Dam”. The place is situated north of Sultanbeyli on the main road toward Şile.

It’s easily accessible from Kadikoy via the bus number 19E, then a Minibus from Latest station would easily take you toward Paşakoy which is right next to the dam.

The distance to walk from the 19E Filiz sokak station to Paşaköy is approximately 4-5 kilometers long.

It’s one of the most unique natural parks that’s still alive in Istanbul, it’s about 40Kms from the center of the Asian side of Istanbul (Kadikoy). It is easy reachable as you can get to it by two minibuses.

From Harim you can go to Gebze by Minibus and from Gebze you can take another minibus to Tavşanlı where you will go out there and walk about one hour through the nature to reach to this canyon.

The canyon is approximately 14 KMs long and it ends in another village which also have public transportation means (Hourly) but it may vary on the weekend.
